The play, based on Prosper Mérimée's novella of the same name "Carmen", is a synthesis of a woman's essence, passion and the power of love that takes one's breath away.

Through the prism of flamenco, in this tragic love story, the life, traditions and manners of the Gypsies come to the fore very sharply. Everything here has meaning and finds its true authentic flavor.

She can't belong to anyone, her mission is to light the flame inside a man without getting burned or dirty. But it is precisely this strength that a woman is not forgiven for.

In the play, Carmen's path is honest and vivid, like that red rope that was her fetters and death noose. But even knowing the ending, she would never have agreed to betray herself.

And it inspires incredible respect and a desire to discover that DNA in ourselves as well.
